Game Journalism - Day 2 - Play

I continued on from my first save(the one I haven't died in, fyi), and I was a little behind in plastic and a bit hungry and thirsty. Okay a lot hungry and thirsty. So I decided I would gather lots of plastic and then after make another fishing rod and fish. I quickly LEARNED(part 2) after making a fishing rod, that the most effective way to fish was while waiting for the "LMB" to appear on the screen(no matter where you're looking) you can gather stuff with the "E" key. I thought that was like, some sort of human evolution that made things so much easier. The only things I stopped fishing for were barrels, or when my water/beets were ready. Finally I had at least a stack or two(I can't vividly remember) of plastic, so I set out to make another storage box because my inventory was now full of at least 5 stacks of palm leaves and two of planks, and also all the fish I was grabbing. I now have one box for food and one for materials, but the boxes are terribly small. A strategy I'm going to focus on collect lots of wood, because I ran out while building walls.

Game Journalism - Play 3

1. I built a Scarecrow for the first time today.

2. The scarecrow will keep the dumb seagull off my crops. That's my survival you thief.

3. Tomorrow I'm just hoping to come across an island so I can gather more sand and clay. I need to make a Smelter in order to make a hinge that I need for a tree pot.

4. I've built my raft like this because one, it looks nice :D and two, the tower is for getting onto islands while the little house at the bottom contains my research table, both my grills, and four plastic containers. The front has four collectors placed as you see in the second photo(They've been moved but their holes are still there), as that is the front of my lil' raft.
